This is the trade-name of a new family of compounds made up of polyolefin (PP) matrix in which an elastomer (EPDM) vulcanized at the dynamic phase is closely dispersed.
This product has been developed to provide the market with a material with excellentelasticity, phisical and mechanical characteristic that are almost constant over time, and highly stability versus various classes of chemical agents, such as bases, acid, polar solvents, etc.
It also has good resistance to atmospheric aging, ozone and ultraviolet rays.
Neotral's operating temperature range is from -40° C to over 120° C. Other important features of Neotral are its high level of thermal and electrical insulation, and excellent fatigue and tear resistance.
It's advised for seals for open joints and special sealswher the above mentioned properties are required.
The material is hot weldable.
Used for seals composed of two types of material: stiff Neotral + soft Neotral. Optimal for high-quality co-extruded seals.
